This notice explains how personal data is handled on mandeepchana.com. The site is run by Mandeep Chana, who is the controller of any personal data collected through it. For any privacy question or request, email hello@mandeepchana.com.
What is collected
- Hosting logs. The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Analytics, only with your consent. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 records how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, how you arrived, and which outbound links you click. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses.
There are no contact forms, accounts or newsletters on this site, and no advertising or remarketing. Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off.
Why, and on what basis
Hosting data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests in running a secure website. Analytics data is processed only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Cookies
No cookies are set unless you accept analytics. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) so the banner does not reappear on every visit.

Who receives data
Vercel Inc. (hosting) and Google (analytics, if you consent) act as processors. Both may process data in the United States, under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or other lawful transfer safeguards. Analytics data is kept for 2 months and then deleted automatically.
Links to other sites
This site links to LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Instagram and TikTok. Those services have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave this site.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent. Email hello@mandeepchana.com to make a request. If you are unhappy with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
This notice will be updated if the site's tools change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
